About

I started using WordPress in 2007, when there were not so many themes, installation was okay, but far from easy and every plugin needed to be uploaded by hand. I did get to know the php.ini file of my server during that time and to be honest: I do not miss that time (greetz to Henrik, who is now pimping all the files for me). However I was under the impression that this piece of software was going to be very special. My trust was well placed. A few versions later WordPress has been a dream come true for me: Not only has the administrative part been simplified (install plugins via backend etc.), but there have been a lot of new functions I never imagined would come true one day (like automatic upgrade or WordPress MU and being able to have multiple domains run on just one WordPress installation).

This site is dedicated to my love of WordPress in all possible form, but mainly focusing on one topic, that is: How to use WordPress as a CMS. Thus most themes and plugins you find on this site are related towards that goal. I hope you can profit from my expertise and please do not hesitate to join in the discussion and leave a comment.
